Chris Salatino and John Ryan started Claim Solutions in October 2003. Chris had been a licensed public adjuster since 1986 and John since 1981. They had helped clients after Hurricanes Hugo, Andrew, George, Opal, Fran, and Marilyn. They worked the wildfires in Oakland Hills, CA in 1991, the Northridge Earthquake in 1994, and aftermath of 9/11 in New York City.

They got together because they believed they could be more effective working harder for select clients. They envisioned a boutique public adjusting firm that concentrated all of its effort in getting clients the best settlement for their insurance claims.

Shortly after forming the company, Hurricane Isabelle battered the coast of North Carolina. It was the first major disaster for Claim Solutions. Chris and John have since worked with clients after Hurricanes Ivan, Dennis, Katrina, Rita, Wilma, Charlie, Gustav, and Ike.

Chris and John believe successful claims resolution requires an in-depth understanding of the claims process and rigorous attention to detail. The Claim Solutions team includes adjusters, inventory specialists, appraisers, estimators, business interruption experts, and other professionals.

Their clients have ranged from homeowners to businesses such as manufacturing, retail, restaurants, hotels, schools, municipalities, and property management. They manage all of their claims from start to finish. They conduct a comprehensive assessment of all losses, including those to the building, inventory, machinery, furniture, fixtures, equipment, and business interruption.

They’ll make sure that their clients’ claim is documented, prepared, and presented for the most reasonable settlement that they are entitled to under the provisions of the policy.
